I feel sorry for Lily Phillips
Just watched Josh Pieters’ documentary about Lily Phillips, and honestly, I can’t help but feel sorry for her. I’ve seen a lot of takes on Twitter and elsewhere, but it’s hard not to empathize with her situation.
She clearly enjoys her profession to some extent, but it feels like this situation went way too far. Sleeping with 100 men in a day might have seemed like something she was okay with at first, but you can see how upset she gets when it actually happens—it’s like reality hits her all at once. I imagine the adult industry is super competitive, with constant pressure to do more just to stay relevant. On top of that, I can see how the money would feel overwhelming and even suffocating, making it hard to step back and evaluate.
Even though she says she isn’t sad, it’s clear that something changed for her. It’s like she’s realizing she pushed herself way out of her comfort zone, and now she’s dealing with the fallout. It’s just a tough situation to watch.
TL;DR: Watched Josh Pieters’ documentary about Lily Phillips. She seemed okay with the idea of sleeping with 100 men at first, but during the event, you can tell she’s upset and the reality is hitting her. The adult industry seems super competitive and overwhelming, especially with the pressure to keep doing more and the money making it hard to step back. She says she’s fine, but it feels like she’s realizing she went too far.
