Low income financial help

Hello, I’m brand new to this subreddit. I live in Canada for the last 4 years and still very lost about finances. I’ve been self employed my entire life, and now I have an hourly wage. Which made me think it would be much easier to deal with my finances, but turned to be not the case. I tried looking for financial advisors from my own bank institution, but it really seems to be more geared towards people with wealth to invest, which definitely is not my case. I can’t figure out where all my money is going, which I am ashamed to admit. I have friends who make less and seem to have way more money availability to travel and so on. I don’t know where to begin, if there is a type of professional geared towards people in this type of situation. I downloaded an app called ‘spendee’ which gets the information from your bank account and cards, but it’s never really accurate (or I’m doing something wrong). But also didn’t help me much, to be honest. Would anyone have any advice for me? Thank you.
