Disrupted Branch Businesses

I'm working on the feasibility of an old money service business, like those branches that carry out padala, loading, or remittances. Now that digital financial services are on the rise and service fees are getting cheaper, the business is certainly disrupted and struggling.

This trend of physical branches struggling isn't new either, we've seen this happen to compshops for example. Some have faded out, while some have adapted like how we have High Grounds Cafe.

Anyone here care to share some tips or stories on how a branch type of business transitioned or adapted to the times/technology? Doesn't need to be related to financial services, but happy to learn about your thoughts, experiences, or lessons.
