fake-out song titles
With the track names of the tortured poets department being released, I thought it would be fun to discuss some of your greatest "fake out" song names!
For example, I thought Taylor's "False God" would be a political song, maybe anti-trump, because she had claimed she would be more political in the era and we had gotten YNTCD. I was actually kind of scared for it and thought it would not be a good song and give her a lot of backlash. Instead, we got one of my faves on the album which is actually incredibly sexy.
another one for me is the last great american dynasty (also taylor), for the same reasons. I thought it would be a political song, though I didn't really have as much time to ponder. Im actually much happier with the results of both songs - our sexy sax and our story about an outrageous woman living life and having fun.
