Multiplayer Privacy

Hey fellow Remnant 2 players,

I’ve noticed that some people have their accounts set to private, and while I get the need for privacy, it’s really making it harder to connect and communicate in-game. One of the best parts of Remnant 2 is teaming up, sharing strategies, and helping each other out, but private accounts make that tough.

I just don’t get it—why lock your account but still want to join multiplayer games? The question is, how are we supposed to communicate? Multiplayer is all about teamwork and sharing strategies, and private accounts make that difficult.

People should really desist from this, as it ruins the overall experience for everyone.

Recently, I joined a game at Apocalypse difficulty and spent more than three hours helping another player. We reached the final boss, but the player kept dying—probably around 50 times—while I kept reviving him. I wanted to chat with him to suggest using syrups, damage reduction needles, and share tips on surviving for longer periods.

I even took a screenshot of my build to share, only to discover I couldn’t friend him or send a message because his account was private. After all my attempts to communicate failed, I eventually had to leave the game.

I JUST DONT GET IT
