I Have Not Even Punched in Yet...Can it Wait Just Ten Seconds?!
I may or may not be speaking for others here, but I'll just put this out there:
It is right bloody annoying to be walking into work to get to the time clock and you already have someone asking you for assistance in finding a product when you're not even punched in yet. Like mate, that's extremely rude as you're not even giving me the common courtesy of at least waiting until someone punches in for work before asking.
I've had this happen to me on at least 3 separate occasions now and it's gotten to where I now just outright ignore people as I'm walking in until I ACTUALLY punch in as I'm not starting my shift until I'm officially on the clock and not a millisecond sooner.
Has this happened to any of you, and if so, what have you done about it moving forward?
Edit: I just realized I should add some context here: I work overnights in a grocery chain and there's a small overlap between when I'm public facing with customers and when we're closed.
