Thinking about switching career paths

I have been so focused on pursuing dental school. I am a dental assistant but have done lots of volunteer hours at my local pet shelter. I am thinking of switching paths. I have my bachelor's and masters in biomedical sciences. I have taken pretty much all of the prerequisites for schools. I think what I am missing is vet experience. Is there schools that don't look for vet experience?
