Due to start period on wedding day. Advice please!

I really wanted some advice as I’ve just looked at my natural cycles app and I am due to start my period on my wedding day! 😫

So I typed into google ‘delay period’ and the period delay pill came up which looks promising.

However I have read there may be some side effects like skin breakouts. So I was thinking would it be sensible to take it a few months before the wedding as I certainly don’t want bad skin on the day?

I’m assuming after taking this pill your subsequent cycles are changed and don’t go back. So taking it a few months before will still prove effective as you will be menstruating at a new time.

I was also on track to be on my period on my honeymoon which had been delayed to a few months after the wedding but also unluckily fell during the time of my period so if your cycles are changed that would be perfect.

P.s So for anyone who doesn’t know natural cycles is a birth control app which just pretty much uses the rhythm method. I have been on the pill in the past and no hormones is certainly the best option for me.

Though I certainly wouldn’t advise it for everyone as there is undeniably (despite what the company who owns it says) a much higher risk of getting pregnant using this method than other methods.

But if you are in a stable committed relationship and getting pregnant wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world and you don’t like chemical contraception or condoms it’s great.
