I'm just really confused about how it's possible you don't know your flatmates

We have no common living space, only our rooms and the kitchen. The other ppl in this flat are very quiet and reserved and hardly even use the kitchen. Also I have 32 contact hours of uni a week so apart from the weekends and half term I don’t spend a meaningful amount of time in the flat anyway.

If you want to be proper about this. Email the accommodation team telling them that you are unaware of several things, who your flat mates are, what they do in their spare time and if anybody does actually smoke in the flat. If you wanted to be really above board, you could call their bluff and welcome another flat viewing. Obviously in the eyes of the flat, you don’t want to be ‘that person’. But having that particular polite email trail in your name I’ll exonerate you from the situation pretty quickly.

Thank you so much for this reply. I actually have no idea who I live with, I haven’t even seen all of my flatmates in person and talked to only one other student who lives here.
