Never ever seen this and I visit a lot of new builds . Where I am In Ohio we use duct and not this ridiculous effort to seal the vents . I don’t even know what this is . I would personally check out the manufacturer specs and requirements . Because you could reach out to their warranty team and say the system was not properly installed . I feel this could possibly void a warranty

You have had an hvac tech out and nobody said there’s an issue? I would then look at the builders contract in regards to the warranty on installation . Have a reputable company come out who deals with new installation. If that doesn’t work go with a lawyer

We had an independent hvac company come take a look and they agreed there was an issue but he didn’t really look at the system. I’m in the stage of arming myself with information but lawyers are certainly on the table.

I used Gleim and took FAR last week. I used Gleim to pass BEC in December and felt very prepared. For FAR I didn’t feel as good coming out but it’s also just a harder exam. I would say I was good with 75-80% of the multiple choice and decent on the sims. Gleim sims are extremely detailed with lots of exhibits so they really do mirror the actual exam. I’m not sure if I passed or not but I think Gleim prepared me pretty well overall

Let us know the results when you get them! I'm in the same boat, passed BEC with Gleim last year. I'm using it for REG now and am most likely going to use it again for FAR.
